Police investigating pair of robberies, commercial burglary

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating a pair of robberies and a commercial burglary that were reported on the Fourth of July.

At 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, a man was robbed by another man who implied a handgun in the 8700-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). The suspect was later apprehended and some of the stolen property was recovered.



At just after 11 a.m., two individuals entered the Rent-A-Center located in the 2300-block of Cleanleigh Drive in Parkville (21234) via an unlocked front door. Once inside, the suspects stole a TV.

At just after 2:30 p.m., a man was walking in the area of Rossville Boulevard and Square Ridge Road in Rosedale (21237) when another man pushed him down to the ground.  The suspect then assaulted the victim with a knife and stole his wallet. The suspect was arrested.
