Laurel Brook Road Bridge in Fallston to be closed in July for four weeks

FALLSTON, MD – Motorists in the Fallston area should be aware of an important road closure.

The Laurel Brook Road Bridge, located just east of Bottom Road in Fallston, will be closed beginning on Monday, July 8 for approximately four weeks.



Harford County Department of Public Works – Bureau of Construction Inspections is closing this section of roadway to allow for cleaning and painting of the bridge over Overshot Branch, which is a tributary of the Little Gunpowder Falls.

Local residents and emergency vehicles will have access to their properties up to the work zone, but no traffic will be permitted over the bridge until the work is completed.

Travelers should follow posted detour signs or make other arrangements during this closure.
