Police investigating Parkville assault, Overlea burglary

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating an assault and three burglaries that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between noon on Saturday, June 15, and noon on Wednesday, June 26, an individual  broke into a side garage in the 2900-block of Putty Hill Avenue in Parkville (21234) and stole a wet saw from within and a dump trailer from the victim’s driveway.



At 11:15 p.m. on Monday, June 24, two individuals stole two bikes from a yard in the 3400-block of Eastern Boulevard in Middle River (21220). Both bikes were recovered.

Sometime between 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, and 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, an individual stole an ATV and mountain bike from a shed in the 5000-block of Kenwood Avenue in Overlea (21206). Also, an air compressor was stolen from the front porch and a purse and wallet were stolen from the victim’s unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway.

At about 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, two roommates were involved in a physical altercation over money and cigarettes in the 3000-block of Balder Avenue in Parkville (21234). The first roommate assaulted the second roommate with a weapon. The first roommate was arrested.
