Man robbed at bus stop, Nottingham home burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating two robberies and two burglaries that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 10 a.m. on Monday, June 17, and 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, an individual entered a home in the 7900-block of Highpoint Road in Parkville (21234) via an unlocked basement window. Once inside, the suspects stole numerous electronic items and then fled.



At 10:45 p.m. on Monday, June 24, three individuals approached a man while he was at a bus stop in the area of Loch Raven Boulevard and Deanwood Road (21234). One suspect displayed a gun, pointed it at the victim, and demanded the victim’s property.  They then fled the scene.

At 11:30 p.m. on Monday, a man was approached by an individual on S. Marlyn Avenue in Essex (21221) and robbed of his cash and a credit card at gunpoint. The suspect then fled on foot.

Sometime between 1:30 and 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, a “known suspect” broke into a house on Aven Way in Nottingham (21236) and damaged and stole property.
