CARNEY, MD – Baltimore County Councilman David Marks announced on Tuesday that the county had made improvements designed to improve drainage at Belmont Park.
County crews have cut out a trench to divert the water to the stream and off the athletic field.
The county is currently awaiting favorable ground conditions to begin grading and adding stone.
The improvements were sought by local residents who have had difficulty accessing the fields.
Belmont Park is a 48-acre site located on Walther Boulevard across from Oak Crest Village.
