Police investigating Parkville carjacking, robbery

PARKVILLE, MD – Police are investigating a robbery, a carjacking, and a burglary that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between noon on Sunday, June 16, and 2 p.m. on Friday, June 21, an individual unscrewed the hinges on the a shed in the 12300-block of Stoney Batter Road in Kingsville (21087) and stole two dirt bikes.



At 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, a person was walking in the area of Taylor Avenue and Hillsway Avenue in Parkville (21234) when two individuals exited a vehicle, displayed a handgun, and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects then fled then scene in the vehicle.

At just before 2 a.m. on Sunday, five individuals robbed two victims at gunpoint in the area of Nunley Drive and Old Harford Road in Parkville (21234).  The suspects stole the victims’ cell phones, credit cards, and a car key, which they then used to steal one of the victim’s vehicles. The suspects assaulted both victims during the robbery and then fled the scene. The vehicle was later recovered.
