TOWSON, MD – Baltimore County has released its 2019 list of dates and locations for fireworks displays that have been approved by the Fire Marshal’s Office. Additional displays will be added as the Fire Marshal issues permits. Check this page regularly for a display near you.
The use of backyard fireworks is illegal. Some ground-based and hand-held sparklers are legal in certain counties, including Baltimore County.

Thousands of people are injured every year in fireworks-related incidents. In 2017, at least eight people died and about 12,900 were injured badly enough to require medical treatment after fireworks-related incidents, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Residents are encouraged to fireworks safely by visiting a legal display.
