Perry Hall photographer invited to attend workshop with award-winning photography instructor

PERRY HALL, MD – Tracy Dietrich of Tracy Dietrich Photography in Perry Hall was recently invited to join group of professional photographers from all over the country to attend and participate in a seminar workshop focused on Small Business Branding.

This group of professionals apprenticed under international award-winning photographer and prior Maryland Photographer of the Year, Melanie Anderson.

The workshop aimed to perfect the art of assisting entrepreneurs and small businesses with putting their best face forward and telling the story of their brands to their own clients in a modern, social media-focused market.

Dietrich participated in this two-day extensive experience and networked with real clients going through brand strategy, commercial headshots, product/food photography, and social media marketing strategy.

Dietrich says the skills she acquired will help raise the bar of the Baltimore small business market for a growing, younger millennial generation.

“I attended this [workshop] to up my game and stay on trend with helping small businesses ‘brand’ their companies with photography,” Dietrich said. “Commercial photography has evolved so much in recent years, it’s important that your photographer’s work is relevant and as current as possible. You are your brand and it’s so important to continue to learn no matter your vocation! This workshop helps me add to my arsenal of ways I can help other small businesses and entrepreneurs in my community stay relevant.”
