NOTTINGHAM, MD – The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for portions of Baltimore County.
At 6:30 p.m., a line of severe thunderstorms with a history of producing wind damage was located along a line extending from near Catonsville to Odenton, moving east at 30 MPH. Winds may occur before rain begins.
Damaging winds may cause some trees and large branches to fall. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
The warning areas include Parkville, Carney, Rosedale, Overlea, Fullerton, Perry Hall, Middle River, Essex, and other locations and will remain in effect until 7:15 p.m. on Sunday.
