Police investigating overnight homicide in Essex

Police responded to the alley in the rear of the 1000-block of Arncliffe Road (21221) for a report of a fight. When officers arrived, they found a male suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. The victim was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead at just after 2:30 a.m.

The victim has been identified as Thomas Eugene Hunt, 51, of the 1000-block of Arncliffe Road. Police are continuing their investigation at this time. Anyone with additional information is asked to call police at 410-307-2020.

ESSEX, MD – Police are investigating an overnight homicide in the Essex area.

Officers responded to the 1000-block of Arncliffe Road (21221) during the overnight hours.

At the scene, police found one adult male victim.

The victim has not yet been identified and the manner of death has not yet been specified.

Homicide detectives are investigating at this hour.
