Man flashes gun during Parkville altercation

police-lightsPolice are investigating a robbery, a burglary, and an assault that were all reported over the past week.

At 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, two individuals, one of whom was armed, stole miscellaneous tobacco products from two men in the 500-block of Dorsey Avenue in Essex (21221). The two suspects were later arrested.



At 2:45 a.m. on Friday, May 10, four individuals broke into a detached garage in the 100-block of Wiltshire Road in Essex (21221) via a bay door. The suspects stole multiple tools and also unsuccessfully attempted to steal a four-wheeler by cutting the chain link that secured it to the deck in the back yard.

At 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, after a phone argument, a man went to the Rent-A-Center located in the 2300-block of Cleanleigh Drive in Parkville (21234) to confront the another known individual. The two exchanged words and then the suspect pulled out a handgun. In fear for his life, the victim exited the store and called 911.
