Councilman Marks: nighttime drilling will end on Belair Road

road-constructionPERRY HALL, MD – Baltimore County Councilman David Marks says he was contacted by numerous Perry Hall residents this week about a late-night drilling noise emanating from Belair Road corridor in Perry Hall.

Marks contacted local utilities and agencies and received the following email on Friday, indicating that the work would stop immediately:

Dear Councilman Marks,

Thank you for bringing up the issue to our attention. A BGE contractor has been performing a gas leak detection at the subject location. MDOT SHA Utilities team was made aware of the complaint and the contractor was asked to stop their work immediately. The lane closure permit for this task was revised for day time work only and was issued to the contractor yesterday so that they could resume their work.

Please let us know if you have any concerns or questions.
