Kingsville crash victim identified

KINGSVILLE, MD – Police in Baltimore County have identified the woman who was killed in a crash in Kingsville earlier this week.



The female passenger who died in a fatal crash on Raphel Road on Wednesday evening has been identified as Samantha Jean Muehleisen, 24, of the 600-block of Yorkshire Drive in Edgewood (21040).

Police were called to Raphel Road around at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday after a Chrysler 300 traveling northbound on Raphel Road near the intersection of Bradshaw Road crossed the oncoming lane of traffic and collided with a BGE pole and then a tree, causing the vehicle to catch fire.

The driver and a female passenger, Muehleisen, both suffered life-threatening wounds and burns wounds in the crash. Muehleisen was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver was transported to an area hospital and remains in critical condition.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team is continuing their investigation to determine the factors that contributed to this fatal crash.
