Police investigating Parkville assault, Overlea stabbing, Rosedale burglary

Police LightsNOTTINGHAM, MD – Police are investigating several crimes that were reported over the past week.

At 8 a.m. on Monday, April 29, while checking a vacant apartment on Peabody Court in Parkville (21234), a man observed another man inside. The suspect assaulted the victim and then fled on foot. The suspect was subsequently arrested.

Sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Monday, April 29, and 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, an individual threw a brick through the foyer entry of the EZ-HQL Firearm Training Center, located in the 9600-block of Belair Road in Nottingham (21236).  Nothing was taken.



At 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, a food delivery driver was approached by two individuals in the 6300-block of Kenwood Avenue in Rosedale (21237). The suspects opened the driver’s car door, went through his pockets, and assaulted the victim. No items were taken.

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, an individual cut the screen to the front window and pushed an unlocked window open to gain entry into a residence on Grovewood Court in Parkville (21234). Once inside, the suspect ransacked the residence and stole various items.

Sometime between 12:30 and 9 a.m. on Wednesday, an individual cut a hole in a chain link fence at the Golden Ring Mini Storage facility, located in the 8800-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). The suspect then cut the locks off of 61 storage units. Items were removed from several units and left in the driveway.

At 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a man’s roommate confronted and threatened him regarding some missing money in the 700-block of Dale Avenue in Overlea (21206). The suspect stabbed the victim in the lower body. The victim then gave the suspect money.
