White Marsh crash victim identified

fatal-crashWHITE MARSH, MD – Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal multi-vehicle crash that occurred early Tuesday morning in White Marsh.

At just before 3:45 a.m., troopers responded to a crash on northbound Interstate 95 just past of Route 43.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2006 Infinity G35 left the roadway and sideswiped a 2013 Lincoln that was on the shoulder before striking a concrete barrier.

After the Infinity struck the concrete barrier, it continued and struck a parked tractor-trailer before it became trapped underneath of it. The driver of the Infinity, identified as Lisa Ann Schaefer, 33, of Forest Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene.



Multiple lanes were blocked for several hours after the crash. I-95 was completely reopened by 8:30 a.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information on this incident should contact police at 410-996-7847.
