Police in Baltimore County are investigating a shooting that occurred in Rosedale.
At about 3:45 a.m. on Monday, police were responding to the area of Hazelwood Avenue at Willann Road for a call of shots fired when a patrol officer was flagged down near Philadelphia Road and Golden Ring Road.
The driver of that vehicle was taking the shooting victim to the hospital.
The shooting victim had flagged down the driver while fleeing the area after sustaining a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the upper body.
Medics responded and took the 29-year-old male to a local hospital where he is expected to recover.
