Royal Farms, GNC stores robbed

Armed RobberyPolice are investigating two robberies and a burglary that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, an individual broke into a home in the 9600-block of Alda Drive in Carney (21234) by breaking the basement door glass. The home was in disarray and cash, electronics, and miscellaneous items were stolen.



At just before 10:15 p.m. on Sunday, February 17, two suspects, one armed, entered the Royal Farms store located in the 8200-block of Harford Road in Parkville (21234), went behind the counter, and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspects stole the cash and cigarettes and then fled the scene on foot.

At just before 3:15 p.m. on Monday, February 18, an individual entered the GNC store located in the 1300-block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221) and, implying a gun, ordered an employee to give him the money from the register. The employee tried to call 911, but the suspect pushed the phone from her hands. The victim gave the suspect the money from the register and then the suspect fled in a vehicle.
