The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Nottingham area for Sunday night into Monday morning.
A two-part system could make for slick travel on Monday morning and again on Tuesday morning.
The advisory will go into effect at 10 p.m. on Sunday and will remain in effect through 7 a.m. on Monday morning.
Total snowfall accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible, along with some ice accumulations.
Part two of the system could affect the Tuesday morning commute as well.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain could cause travel difficulties. Motorists should expect slippery roads and limited visibility, and use caution while driving.
