Baltimore residents are breathing a collective sigh of relief.
The National Weather Service has dropped the Winter Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories that were in place for Saturday evening into Sunday as the track of the latest winter storm has shifted north.
The air is also warmer than expected so any precipitation that does fall will likely be in the form of chilly, January rain.
The deep freeze is still on for Sunday evening into Monday, however, as temps will likely fall to around 10° F with wind chills below zero.
A wind advisory will also be in effect on Sunday as wind gusts could reach 50 mph.
Our next shot at snow could come late next week as another winter storm makes its way across the U.S.
