Police are investigating a burglary and an attempted stabbing that were reported this week.
At about 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, two individuals shattered the rear sliding door glass in order to break into an apartment in the 8100-block of Ridgetown Drive in Nottingham (21236). Once inside, the suspects rummaged through the apartment but were interrupted when a resident returned home. The suspects then fled. No items were stolen.
Sometime between 5 and 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, two individuals got into a verbal argument in the 4200-block of Overton Avenue in Nottingham (21236). That argument became physical when the suspect attempted to stab the victim with a knife. The victim assaulted the suspect until the suspect dropped the knife and was then forced out of the house.
