Police investigating shooting at Putty Hill Plaza, reward offered

shooting-news-graphicPolice in Baltimore County are investigating a Monday night shooting that occurred in the Fullerton area.

At about 10:30 p.m., officers responded to Putty Hill Plaza, located in the 7900-block of Belair Road in Nottingham (21236) for a report of a shooting.

Police were able to locate the victim after the man drove himself to a local hospital. ]

Detectives determined that the man drove into the parking lot in order to make a phone call.

While inside his car, the victim saw a man, armed with a gun, walk up to his car. The victim attempted to drive off, but was shot when the suspect fired the weapon.

The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his upper extremity. His injuries are suspected to be non-life threatening.

This is an on-going investigation but police do not have a suspect description at this time.
