Perry Hall apartment burglarized, home invasion reported in Middle River

Police GraphicPolice are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 29, three individuals, two of whom were armed, entered Shoe City store located in the 8600-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237) and demanded money from the register. The suspects then fled with the money.

Sometime between 7:30 a.m. on Friday, November 30, and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, an individual broke into an apartment on Lincoln Woods Way in Perry Hall/White Marsh (21128) via a back window. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole cash and a handgun.



At about 9:20 p.m. on Monday, December 3, a man pointed a knife at another man at the Regal Inn & Suites, located in the 8000-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237). The suspect proceeded to take the victim’s cell phone and wallet and then fled on foot.

Also on Monday, a man was robbed by three individuals outside of the Family Wash Day laundromat, located in the 1400-block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221). A book bag containing a laptop, two cellphones, a wallet containing cash and phone chargers were taken. The suspects then fled on foot.

At 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, five individuals broke into a home in the 300-block of Grovethorn Road in Middle River (21220) by kicking in the front door. Two of the suspects entered the basement and confronted the resident, while the other suspects, who were not observed by the resident, remained upstairs. The suspects fled after stealing two handbags and a suitcase.
