Perry Hall businesses vandalized, Kingsville church burglarized, Parkville victim fights back

Police LightsPolice are investigating several robberies and burglaries that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 1 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Friday, November 16, an individual parked his vehicle behind several businesses in the 4100-block of E. Joppa Road in Perry Hall (21236), then cut the wires in panel boxes belonging to the businesses. The suspect fired a BB gun into the glass doors of the businesses, causing significant damage, and then fled in the vehicle.

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Friday, November 16, and 6 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, an individual broke into St. John’s Episcopal Church, located in the 11900-block of Belair Road in Kingsville (21087). Once inside, the suspect stole jewelry from a Christmas bazaar display and fled.



At 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, an individual broke into the vehicle detailing shop at Jerry’s Toyota, located in the 8000-block of Belair Road (21236), and stole a vehicle.

At just after 12:30 a.m. on Monday, November 19, an individual broke into the China One restaurant, located in the 6200-block of Kenwood Avenue in Rosedale (21237). Once inside, the suspect rummaged through several boxes and left the location without taking any property.

At about 12:45 a.m. on Monday, an individual entered the Dairy Queen located in the 8600-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237) via the drive-through window and unsuccessfully attempted to access the cash registers.

At about 6:30 p.m. on Monday, an individual entered the 7-Eleven located on Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221), pointed a handgun at the clerk, and demanded money. The suspect grabbed the money from the clerk and then fled the scene on foot.

At about 9:45 p.m. on Monday, a man was working on his vehicle in the 2800-block of Kings Ridge Road in Parkville (21234) when three suspects approached him. One of the suspects displayed a gun and demanded the man’s money. The victim, holding a can of spray paint, sprayed the three suspects and proceeded to run but was assaulted by the suspects and they then fled. No property was taken.
