Crews are on the scene of a Thursday afternoon crash involving a rescue in Middle River.

The crash was reported at about 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of Wilson Point Road and Dark Head Cove Road near Martin State Airport (21220).

A rescue is in progress to free a trapped occupant.

There has been no word on any other injuries.

Motorists should use extreme caution in the area.
