Police are investigating several robberies that were reported over the weekend.
At 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 9, an individual entered the Papa John’s Pizza located in the 7400-block of Belair Road in Fullerton (21236), displayed a handgun, and told the cashiers to open the cash box. The suspect took the cash and fled the scene.
At just before 9:30 p.m. on Friday, a man was approached by another man in the 9600-block of Belair Road in Perry Hall (21236). The second man asked the first man for money. When the victim refused, the suspect told the victim that someone across the street had a gun pointed at him. The victim fled the scene and called 911. The suspect was located and arrested. Nothing was stolen.
At just after 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, an individual entered the Royal Farms store located in the 800-block of South Marlyn Avenue in Essex (21221) and, at gunpoint, robbed the store of cash and then fled.
At about 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, November 11, two individuals tried to pry open the side door of the First Stop convenience store located in the 6000-block of Radecke Avenue (21206). The suspects were unsuccessful.
At just after 6 p.m. on Monday, November 12, an individual approached the register at The Gold Mine store, located in the 4000-block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221). The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the store owner. The owner handed the suspect cash and then the suspect fled.
