Carjacking reported in Rosedale, gun shop burglarized

Police GraphicPolice are investigating a carjacking, a robbery, and a burglary that were reported this week.

Sometime between 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, and 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, an individual forced open the rear window of The Gun Shop, located in the 1600-block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221), to gain entry into the showroom. The suspect removed multiple handguns and several boxes of ammunition from the location.



At 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, a man met with two females in the 8000-block of Neighbors Avenue in Rosedale (21237). The man had met one of the females on a dating site. As he was speaking with them, two suspects approached him from behind, displayed handguns, and took his vehicle. The female suspects left in another vehicle.

At about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday night, an individual entered the 7-Eleven located on Eastern Boulevard (21221), displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the registers. The suspect stole cash and then fled on foot.
