Carjacking reported in Overlea-Fullerton, Dollar Tree vandalized in Rosedale

Police are investigating a carjacking that was reported in Overlea-Fullerton and an attempted burglary at a Rosedale store.



At 1:45 a.m. on Friday, October 12, an individual broke the window near the front door of the Dollar Tree located in the 1700-block of Chesaco Avenue in Rosedale (21237). Nothing was stolen.

At 9:30 p.m. on Friday, two individuals forcibly removed a man from his vehicle at the intersection of Marion Avenue and Henry Avenue in Overlea-Fullerton (21236). The two suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

At 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, October 14, after a burglar alarm sounded, police saw a man running from the front of the Resco Electronics, located in the 4900-block of Mercantile Road in White Marsh (21236) and entering a vehicle. After a brief vehicle pursuit and foot chase, two suspects were taken into custody. No items were reported stolen.
