Police in Baltimore County are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday night in the Hillendale area.
A pedestrian, identified as Mohamed Hamid Idries Hassan, 72, of the 600-block of Walker Avenue (21212), was crossing Loch Raven Boulevard near Sayward Avenue (21234) when he was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe traveling northbound.
Hassan suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Sinai Hospital, where he later died.
Police continue to investigate to determine the factors contributing to this fatal crash.
