Essex Bank, M&T Bank robbed

Armed RobberyPolice are investigating several local robberies that were reported over the weekend.

At just after 1:30 a.m. on Friday, September 28, an individual approached a woman in the 9000-block of Briar Road in Parkville (21234).  The suspect assaulted the woman and stole her backpack which contained cash. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle.



At just before 1:30 p.m. on Friday, an individual entered the Essex Bank located in the 1200-block of Race Road in Rosedale (21237) and handed the teller a note demanding money. The teller handed over the money and the suspect fled the scene.

At just before 1:45 p.m. on Friday, a man entered the M&T Bank located in the 8300-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237) and presented a note to the teller demanding cash. The teller complied and then the suspect fled.

At just after midnight on Saturday, September 29, two people were walking in the area of Acton Road and Glen Road in Parkville (21234) when a vehicle stopped, three individuals exited the vehicle, and assaulted them. The suspects demanded that the victims empty their pockets. The victims began yelling for help and the suspects then fled in their vehicle. No property was taken from the victims.
