Police have identified the man who struck a three-year-old child on Right Wing Drive in Middle River on Sunday night.
The driver has been identified as Michael William Houston Burns, 46, of Middle River (21220).
Burns was located and arrested at about 9 p.m. in the 200-block of Glider Drive in Middle River, less than a mile from the scene of the hit-and-run crash.
A witness reportedly called 911 after seeing the suspect vehicle that police had described on their Facebook page shortly after the crash took place.
Burns has been charged with associated hit-and-run crash charges as well as driving on a suspended license. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on no bail status pending a bail review hearing.
The three-year-old girl who was struck was hospitalized with serious injuries. There has been no update on her condition.
