Police have identified the man found dead in an Essex home as one of three suspects who entered the home during what authorities are calling a targeted home invasion.
The deceased suspect has been is identified as Tarae Damon Holton, 20, of the 100-block of Saint Charles Road (21225).
Police are still working to identify his two accomplices, who fled the home prior to the arrival of officers and remain at large.
Officers responded to the 800-block of Arncliffe Road (21221) at about 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning for a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Police located one man suffering from a gunshot wound just outside the home. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Holton was located inside the home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
