Police are investigating several robberies and burglaries that have taken place this week.
At just after 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10, an individual broke into an apartment in the 9800-block of Whitney Drive in Rosedale (21237) and assaulted a resident with an undisclosed weapon. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Sometime between 3 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, an individual broke into a garage in the 3800-block of Perry Hall Road in Perry Hall (21128). Once inside, the suspect stole four motorcycles, then fled the scene.
At just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, two individuals approached a woman in the Walther Shopping Center, located in the 8600-block of Walther Boulevard (21236), and instructed her to put her wallet down and not move. The suspects stole the wallet and then, implying that they had a gun, told her to run. The suspects then entered the Walther Liquors, pointed a gun at the clerks and stole cash, cigarettes, and alcohol. The suspects then fled in a vehicle.
