Crews were on the scene of an Independence Day accident in Joppa that left one person severely burned. At just before 7:30 p.m., units from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 300 block of Chimney Oak Drive. At the scene paramedics found that a woman had sustained facial burns from a charcoal grill. The woman was transported to Hopkins Bayview for treatment of her injuries. There has been no update on the woman’s condition. Authorities have provided no additional details as to how the woman was injured.
