A police chase ended with a crash and an officer-involved shooting in Rosedale on Tuesday morning.
The pursuit reportedly began in Parkville and ended at about 6 a.m. when a stolen SUV crashed into a police car in the 7400 block of Pulaski Highway (21237).
As the officer approached the SUV, the driver attempted to run him over. The officer fired his weapon, striking the occupant several times.
The suspect has been taken to a nearby hospital.
The officer was uninjured in the incident.
