Police are investigating robberies in Essex and Middle River that were reported this week.
At just after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, three individuals entered the Super 8 motel located on Stemmers Run Road in Essex (21221). The suspects implied a weapon and demanded a room key for a room. The employee made a room key for one of the suspects who made entry into the room and removed a black shoebox. The suspects then fled in a vehicle.
At 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, two individuals assaulted a man on Cedar Drive in Middle River (21220) and robbed him of his cell phone, cigarettes, and the lid to his grill.
At just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, three individuals beat and robbed a man with a handgun in the 1300 block of Eastern Boulevard in Middle River (21220) and then fled in a vehicle. The victim’s wallet, cash, and a cell phone were taken. Two of three suspects were located and arrested.
