The husband of a slain police officer will be holding a memorial bike ride this weekend.
Officer Amy Caprio was slain in the line of duty earlier this month while investigating a suspicious vehicle in Perry Hall.
Officer Caprio’s husband, Tim, will be hosting the memorial bike ride at Jerusalem Mill Historic Village on Sunday June 3rd, at 9 a.m.
“I usually ride solo as I use biking to escape reality,” says Tim Caprio. “However, I am interested in planning a memorial ride to my wife Amy Caprio who passed away in the line of duty on May 21. It is just something I can say ‘thank you’ to her on a personal level to the service she provided. I don’t know a better way doing it then with the activity I love to do.”
All riders are encouraged to where blue jerseys or shirts, or black.
Jerusalem Mill Historic Village is located at 2813 Jerusalem Road in Kingsville.
More details about the event can be found on the web here and on Facebook here.
