Essex Royal Farms robbed, food delivery driver robbed

Police GraphicPolice are investigating a burglary and two robberies that were reported over the weekend.

At just after 7:15 a.m. on Friday, May 25, an individual entered the Royal Farm store located in the 800 block of South Marlyn Avenue in Essex (21221), pointed a gun at the employees, and demanded money and Newport cigarettes. The employees complied and the suspect fled the scene.



Sometime between 2 a.m. on Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 27, an individual shattered a window, entered Bayside Auto Repair located in the 300 block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex (21221), then stole several items.

At 11 p.m. on Sunday, three individuals, one of whom was armed with a gun, approached a food delivery driver as he was making a delivery in the 1500 block of Alconbury Road in Essex (21221). The suspects pressed the gun into his back and demanded money. The three individuals then fled the scene.
