Police investigating string of weekend burglaries in Parkville, Nottingham; shots fired in Middle River

Police GraphicPolice are investigating a string of burglaries and robberies that were reported over the weekend.

At 2 a.m. on Friday, May 18, an individual broke into Queen’s Nails salon, located in the 7600 block of Belair Road (21236). The suspect fled the location prior to police arrival.

At just after 2 a.m. on Friday, an individual broke into Martin’s Hairport, also located in the 7600 block of Belair Road (21236). The suspect stole cash from a cash drawer and then fled the scene.



Sometime between 9 and 11 a.m. on Friday, an individual smashed a rear basement patio door to gain break into a residence on Graveswood Court in Carney (21234). Once inside, the suspect stole cash from the victim’s purse then fled the scene.

At about 9:45 a.m. on Friday, an individual shattered a basement glass door in order to break into residence in the 8900 block of Hevesy Court in Carney (21234). Once inside, the suspect stole a cell phone, computers, and a computer bag.

At just before midnight on Friday, two people were robbed at gunpoint as they exited their vehicles on Gravelo Circle in Middle River (21220). The suspects stole a cell phone, a wallet, and money from the victims. Two suspects and one juvenile suspect were arrested.

Sometime between 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, and 11:59 a.m. on Sunday, May 20, an individual attempted to break into the Olde Forge Townhomes leasing office, located on Waldmann Mill Court (21236).

Sometime between 10:20 p.m. on Saturday and 11:59 a.m. on Sunday, two individuals fired shots at the victim and stole the victim’s cash and cell phone on Cedar Drive in Middle River (21220). The suspects then fled the scene.
