Crews were on the scene of an early morning house fire in Parkville.

The blaze was reported in the 2500 block of Wendover Road (21234) at about 5:45 a.m. on Thursday.

At the scene, emergency personnel found smoke showing from the basement and first floor of a single-family home.

The flames were quickly extinguished.

There has been no word on any injuries.
