Police are investigating several local burglaries and an attempted robbery that were reported over the past week.
At 9:15 p.m., on Monday, April 23, an individual attempted to gain entry to a home in the 9900 block of Maidbrook Road in Parkville (21234) by kicking the front door. The suspect damaged the wooden door frame but no entry was gained.
Sometime between 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, and 5:15 p.m. Friday, on April 27, an individual broke into a storage unit at Self StorageOne, located in the 1000 block of Middle River Road in Middle River (21220) and stole miscellaneous items.
At 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 27, an individual entered an apartment in the 700 block of Maryland Avenue in Essex (21221) and demanded money. The victim ran away from the suspect and no property was stolen.
Sometime between 11:15 p.m. on Friday, April 27, and noon on Saturday, April 28, an individual attempted to gain entry into the rear of Vito’s Pizza, located in the 7900 block of Belair Road (21236) by forcing open the rear door. Entry was not gained.
At just before 2 a.m. on Saturday, an individual entered the Bullseyes Catering restaurant, located in the 7900 block of Belair Road (21236), and stole a safe and cash.
