White Marsh Marriott SpringHill Suites hotel opens at Greenleigh at Crossroads

Marriott SpringHill SuitesWhite Marsh Marriott Springhill Suites, a four-story 120-room hotel contained within Greenleigh at Crossroads, the next development phase of Baltimore Crossroads, is now operational in the 1,000-acre mixed-use business community situated in the White Marsh area of Baltimore County. Middle River Hotel Partners, LLP is the development group and owner of the hotel, which will be managed by USA Management II, Inc. St. John Properties, Inc. and Somerset Construction are the master developers of Baltimore Crossroads and Greenleigh at Crossroads.

Located at 6110 Greenleigh Avenue, the brick-and-glass hotel includes an indoor pool; fully-equipped business center with a meeting room that can support 20 people; state-of-the-art fitness center; and a lobby bar that will operate daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The hotel rooms contain King or double-Queen-sized beds and are furnished with a large television platform offering premium channels, a refrigerator and microwave, upscale bathroom accommodations, and free Wi-Fi service which is available throughout the property. Each guest receives a free breakfast buffet each morning.

“Baltimore Crossroads has grown exponentially over the last several years and the recent real estate elements introduced to Greenleigh at Crossroads are perfectly suited to support the long-term needs of a hotel,” explained Tom Lee, President of USA Management II, Inc. and a partner with Middle River Hotel Partnership, LLP. “The business community already offered a critical mass of businesses and employees, and this location became significantly more attractive with the announcement of the more than 1,500 residential units and the continued office building development. More than 200 business exist within the immediate area. There were more than 90,000 civilian arrivals at Martin State Airport last year. We expect White Marsh Springhill Suites to draw guests and users from an area stretching from Aberdeen to downtown Baltimore City.”



St. John Properties, together with Somerset Construction Company and Elm Street Development, are currently engaged in the construction of Greenleigh at Crossroads, utilizing a concept plan that consists of 1000 single-family homes and townhomes, 500 multi-family units, three mid-rise Class “A” commercial office buildings containing approximately 300,000 square feet of space; 443,000 square feet of single-story office space; 827,000 square feet of flex/R&D space; and 188,000 square feet of retail amenities.

Located along Route 43 (White Marsh Boulevard) near Interstate 95, Baltimore Crossroads is configured to support more than 2.5 million square feet of commercial office, flex/R&D, warehouse, industrial and retail space, in addition to the hotel and residential components. Approximately 2,500 employees currently live and work in the community, including multi-family residents at the Arbors at Baltimore Crossroads and more than 10,000 jobs are expected to be created upon the completion of Baltimore Crossroads.

Earlier this year, Stanley Black & Decker signed a full-building, 92,000 square foot lease with St. John Properties and announced plans to locate more than 400 jobs to Greenleigh at Crossroads later this year. To keep pace with the continued demand of commercial office space in Baltimore County, St. John Properties is currently constructing a new four-story, 100,000 square foot Class “A” office building that is expected to deliver in 2019; two single-story commercial office buildings, each consisting approximately 36,000 square feet of space; and two single-story retail building offering 14,000 square feet of space each. These additional four structures are expected to be completed this spring.
