Police are investigating a robbery, a stabbing, and an attempted burglary that were reported this week.
At about 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, a fight broke out at a residence in the 800 block of Brunswick Road in Essex (21221) and several people were assaulted. One suspect stabbed two victims with a knife and another suspect pointed a handgun at a victim. One individual’s cell phone was also stolen. There has been no update on the condition of the stabbing victims.
At 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, an individual entered a back yard in the 1500 block of Nicolay Way in Essex (21221) and attempted to break into the shed. The suspect was confronted by a witness and then fled the scene. The suspect was later arrested.
At about 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, an individual entered the 7-Eleven located in the 9600 block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). After the customers left the store, he ran behind the counter and confronted the employees while brandishing two knives. The suspect then removed money from both cash registers and fled the scene.
