Pizza delivery driver robbed in Essex, storage facility burglarized in Middle River

Police LightsPolice are investigating two robberies and a burglary that were reported over the past week.

Sometime between 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, and 11 a.m. on Monday, April 2, an individual entered the lot of a storage facility in the 3000 block of Eastern Boulevard in Middle River (21220) and damaged the bay doors of two storage units. The suspect also stole copper piping from another unit.



At 5:30 a.m. on Monday, April 2, two individuals, one of whom was armed, robbed and assaulted another individual in the 300 block of Holly Drive in Essex (21221). Cash was stolen from the victim.

At 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, a driver attempted to make a pizza delivery in the 900 block of Ashbridge Drive in Essex (21221) and determined it to be a fake order.  While returning to his car, an individual assaulted and threatened the driver with physical harm if he did not give him his cash, which he did.
