The Maryland State Firemen’s Association will be sponsoring a state-wide recruitment day for volunteer fire companies on Sunday, April 15, 2018.
The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company will be participating in this state-wide initiative.
Interested applicants can come and talk with WMVFC recruiters, tour the station, inspect out the apparatus, and more.
Interested parties will be able to apply on site and receive all of the paperwork required to start the process.
WMVFC has no application fee, no annual dues, and no requirement to attend company meetings.
In 2017, WMVFC responded to 4,407 calls.
This coming August, the company will be operating out of a new, 18,000-square-foot facility.
Available membership types include operational (fire and EMS), limited (intended for career fire and EMS members in the state of Maryland), support services (incident rehab), and administrative support.
The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday April 15 at the station, which is currently located at 5419 Ebenezer Road in White Marsh.
