Police are investigating a series of local crimes that were reported over the past week.
Sometime between midnight and 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 28, an individual entered a construction site in the 4800 block of Joppa Road in Perry Hall (21128) and stole tools and construction material.
Sometime between 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, and 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, an individual entered Edwards Boatyard, located in the 1300 block of Bowleys Quarters Road in Bowleys Quarters/Middle River (21220), then used force to open a storage container located on the property. The suspect stole several tools before fleeing the scene.
At around 2 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, two individuals entered the Royal Farms store located in the 2400 block of Joppa Road in Parkville (21234), went behind the counter, and stole tobacco products. The suspects fled on foot after threatening an employee.
Sometime between 7:15 and 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, an individual forcibly entered and ransacked an apartment in the 4300 block of Bedrock Circle (21236). Cash and a wallet were stolen from the scene.
Sometime between 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, and 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 4, an individual broke into the SmartStop Self Storage office, located in the 7900 block of Rossville Boulevard (21236), via the rear door. The suspect pried open the cash register and stole the cash from inside it.
Sometime between 5:45 and 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, an individual entered Racers’ Cafe, located in the 7700 block of Harford Road in Parkville (21234), via an unlocked front window. The suspect stole a safe containing cash, two sets of keys, and then fled.
At around 2:30 a.m. on Monday, March 5, an individual attempted to break through the front door of the CVS located in the 9500 block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237). The suspect was later located and arrested.
