Water main break reported in White Marsh

Water Main BreakSome White Marsh residents have been left without service following a water main break.  The rupture occurred in the 10800 block of Philadelphia Road on Wednesday afternoon.

The Department of Public Works says it should have crews out to the scene by Thursday evening.

In the meantime, the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company is lending a helping hand.

Residents affected by the water main break can go to the station and receive water and ice. Citizens should bring jugs or other containers to fill and head to the back of the station to the first bay door.

WMVFC will provide this service until at least 6 p.m. on Thursday.
