Police investigate attempted robbery at Giant in Perry Hall, burglary in White Marsh

Police LightsPolice are investigating a burglary and an attempted robbery that were reported this week.

Sometime after 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, an individual broke a glass pane on the side door to a home in the 5200 block of Bush Street in White Marsh (21162) to gain entry. Once inside, the suspect stole various pieces of jewelry then fled the scene.



At just after 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, an unidentified white male individual entered the Giant Food store located in the 8900 block of Belair Road in Perry Hall (21236) and attempted to rob the clerk behind the service desk. The suspect displayed a gun in his waistband and demanded cash. The clerk went to the cash room and did not return. The suspect then fled the store without cash.
