Police investigate purse-snatching, 3 burglaries

Police GraphicPolice are investigating three burglaries and a robbery that were reported in recent days.

At 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 12, a woman was approached by three individuals in the 700 block of Compass Road in Middle River (21220). One suspect displayed a knife and demanded her purse. The suspects took the woman’s purse with cash in it and fled the scene.



Sometime between 11 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, an individual entered an apartment in the 700 block of Belridge Road (21236) and stole three game systems.

At 1 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, an individual entered a yard on Blue Spire Circle in Middle River (21220), then stole lights out of the locked shed. The suspect was seen later and the stolen items were taken back to the precinct. A warrant has been issued for the suspect.

At 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20, an individual broke a rear window to gain entry to a residence in the 400 block of St. Patrick Road in Overlea (21206). Once inside, the suspect stole a laptop, jewelry, and a washcloth before leaving through the rear basement door.
