Police in Baltimore County are seeking the public’s help in locating a robbery suspect connected with 5 robberies and attempted robberies in the last 4 days.

Police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Arick William Fleming, 55, for one of the commercial robberies he has committed in the eastern portion of Baltimore County since Friday, February 16, but have not been able to locate him at any previously known locations.

Fleming’s crime spree began Friday, February 16, at just after 7:15 a.m. when he approached the counter at the Royal Farms Store in Perry Hall (9620 Belair Road) to buy a doughnut. When the cashier opened the register to retrieve his change, Fleming attempted to reach over the counter and grab cash out of drawer. The cashier was able to close the drawer before Fleming got any cash, and Fleming fled the store on foot.

He struck again at just before 8 a.m. at the Royal Farms Store at 1525 East Joppa Road in Towson, but this time was successful in grabbing cash out of the drawer.

On Saturday, February 17, he struck another Royal Farms Store around 4:30 a.m. at 8803 Philadelphia Road in Rosedale, when he approached the counter to buy a pack of gum. This time, when the cashier attempted to close the drawer, he implied that he had a gun under his coat and threatened to shoot the cashier. Again, he fled on foot with cash from the drawer. He threatened to kill another employee who attempted to stop him after he tried unsuccessfully to take money out of a register at the Royal Farms Store at 2700 Taylor Avenue in Parkville on Sunday.

He last struck yesterday, February 19, at the High’s Store at 6801 Broening Road in Dundalk, an area where he is known to frequent, when he took cash from the open register after buying a drink.

Police are confident Fleming will strike again unless he is taken into custody. Arick Fleming is described as thin, approximately 5’10” and 185 pounds. He has some facial hair, possibly a thin goatee, balding head, small tattoos on the sides of his neck, and may be wearing glasses. He has been seen in all dark clothing and is described as having bowed legs and walking with a limp.

The public should consider Fleming to be armed and dangerous.

If seen, do not approach Fleming, but call 911 or 410-307-2020 with information regarding his whereabouts.
