Some special events will soon be held at a few Baltimore County Public Schools.
The Night of Innovation events will showcase to families how BCPS is transforming teaching and learning to ensure that all students will be globally competitive graduates.
During these events, families will learn about and experience learner-centered environments and see how teaching strategies and tech tools are used to customize and personalize instruction in all schools as part of S.T.A.T. BCPS is transforming teaching and learning through S.T.A.T., a learner-centered approach to instruction. Students are active participants in the learning process and make choices about how and where they learn. Using redesigned curriculum in core content areas, S.T.A.T. creates a blended learning environment and places an emphasis on critical thinking and analytical skills.
